Frieda Clara Zimbelman

	Frieda Clara Zimbelman, 94, of Murphysboro, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2002 at 3:15 p.m. at Fair Acres Nursing Home in DuQuoin.
	Mrs. Zimbelman had worked at the former Martin Bakery in Murphysboro.  She was a lifelong member of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #127 Ladies Auxiliary and V.F.W. Post #7190 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of Jackson County Nursing Home Auxiliary and Murphysboro Senior Citizens.
	 She was born October 5, 1907 in Murphysboro, the daughter of Adolph and Emma (Heumann) Wohlwend.  She married Clarence Zimbelman on February 3, 1940 in Jackson, Mo. and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1971.
	She is survived by one sister, Alma Raines of Murphysboro and numerous nieces, nephews  and great-nieces and great-nephews.
	She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
	Funeral services were Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro with Rev. P.K. Sunny officiating.  Interment was in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro.
	Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday until the hour of services at the funeral home.
